Who we are
Lighthouse Homeschool Group is a nonprofit, Christian enrichment program, and it truly is a labor of love. It was born out of a desire to give our children something special: a day school experience that still holds onto a homeschool heart. We wanted a place where our kids could come and feel like they belong, a home away from home, where they get to learn and grow alongside other kids of the kingdom.
Our teachers are here for more than just a job. They love the Lord, and they love people, especially the young people He has entrusted to us. There is a genuine passion in this place, for Him and for watching young hearts and minds come alive to learning. We want our students to know God and His world, to understand the world around them, and to discover the place He has for them in it.
Yes, we teach academics, and we want our students to work hard and succeed in all they set their hands to. But their relationship with Jesus is the beginning and the end of every good and great thing. Everything we do flows from that.
Today we’re a Christian homeschool co-op in Meridian, Idaho, where K-12 students meet every Monday and Wednesday for teacher-led classes.

Special Events
Here are Lighthouse we love to have fun and give the opportunity to shine. We offer events such as living history wax museum, a science fair and a states and countries project. Beyond that we have school parties, other field trips and park days. We want to build a community among children and the families beyond the classroom.
